Amber Miller pleads guilty to vehicular assault

BUFFALO, N.Y. – A Cheektowaga woman who was impaired when she crashed her car into three kids pleaded guilty to vehicular assault before State Supreme Court Justice Christopher J. Burns Tuesday.

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn said, Amber Miller, 24, was impaired by the depressant Alprazolam when her car crossed over to the other side of Central Boulevard and struck 3 children, causing serious physical injury to a 12-year-old.

A 15-year-old and a 12-year-old were also hurt.

Miller fled the scene and returned about 12 minutes later.

She faces up to four years in prison when she is sentenced by Justice Burns on May 10, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.
