CHEEKTOWAGA – The Cheektowaga Central School District Art Department is pleased to announce an exhibit of student artwork in the Education Wing at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.

The display encompasses artwork in grades kindergarten through twelve. The exhibit highlights artwork in the areas of drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, and clay. Students receive instruction that is aligned with the NYS Standards for the Visual Arts. Students are taught concepts that allow for creativity and individual exploration.

Along with skills and techniques, students are exposed to art history along with the Elements of Design and Principles of Art which are central in much of their creations.

The CCSD Art Department is grateful for this opportunity to exhibit their students work in the community.

The exhibit is open to the public and will be on display from March 5-24, 2019.
