CHEEKTOWAGA – The Walden Galleria announced Wednesday that clothing retailer Aéropostale will be reopening a store at the mall later this spring.

The retailer closed the Walden Galleria location in December of 2016.  The specialty retailer of casual apparel and accessories principally targets 14-to-17-year-old teens.

Aéropostale provides customers with a focused selection of high-quality fashion and fashion basics at compelling values in an innovative and exciting store environment the mall’s marketing team said in a press release. Aéropostale maintains control over its proprietary brands by designing, sourcing, marketing and selling all its own merchandise.

“Aéropostale’s collection of jeans, polos, graphic tees, and complementary accessories will be a welcomed addition by our young adult shoppers,” says Alex Corbelli, marketing director for Walden Galleria. “We’re pleased to have them return to the shopping center in a brand new store location and build-out!”

Aéropostale at Walden Galleria will be located in a 3,400 sq. ft. store on the lower level across from American Eagle.

The young men and women’s retailer operates 350 stores nationally and internationally, including locations in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, India, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Philippines, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, and Chile.
