Accused pajama-wearing thief sought by Cheektowaga Police

CHEEKTOWAGA – Cheektowaga Police detectives would like to speak to the man who witnesses say robbed a French Road convenient store while wearing a pajama onesie.

The alleged crime happened on Thursday night around 8 pm at the 7-Eleven store at 150 French Road according to Assistant Chief of Police Michael Sliwinski.  The police were told the man entered the store and demanded money from the clerk.

“Although no weapon was displayed, the robber indicated to the clerk that he had a weapon or gun. The suspect fled the store with approximately $500.00 and ran south across French Road towards The Gardenvillage Apartments,” Mr. Sliwinski said in an email.
