7-Eleven store robbed at gunpoint Wednesday morning

CHEEKTOWAGA – Cheektowaga Police are investigating a reported armed robbery at a convenience store overnight.

It happened around 3:45 am Wednesday inside the 7-Eleven store at the intersection of Harlem Road and George Urban Boulevard.

A police source tells Cheektowaga Chronicle that authorities responded to the store after a man in his 20’s held up the store.  The suspect concealed his face and displayed a gun.  The clerk was not hurt during the robbery.

Further information about the robbery was not immediately available.
