CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. – Two men – at least one of them armed – tried to rob a Cash for Cans store Thursday afternoon.

Two brazen holdup men walked into the Cash for Cans store at 1350 Harlem Road around 2:50 p.m. and put a gun to the owner’s face according to Thursday’s Cheektowaga Police Blotter.

Police are looking for two black men, about 5’10” wearing ski masks.  One was wearing a black hoodie and black pants while the other man was wearing a green hoodie and tan pants.

It didn’t appear that the men got away with anything after reviewing video.  The detective’s bureau is investigating.
