Cheektowaga residents graduate from State Police Academy

ALBANY, N.Y. – Seven Cheektowaga residents graduated from the New York State Police Academy at a recent graduation ceremony in Albany.

The new troopers reported to their field training assignments on May 12th and they will be evaluated by senior training officers for the next 10 weeks.

Andrew W. Lawrence, Jesse D. Konstabel, Michael M. Slawek, Caroline E. Spencer, Jennifer Villa were assigned to Troop C in Sidney, New York.  Brett K. Feind and Bradford J. Yeomans were assigned to Troop NYC in Manhattan.

“I commend these men and women for their hard work over the last 26 weeks and wish them luck as they start their careers and continue the fine tradition of the New York State Police. Our state is safer with these members joining the ranks and enforcing our laws,” said Governor Andrew M. Cuomo.

A total of 192 recruits graduated from the academy.
