CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. – First responders were called out to 187 incidents across the town on Wednesday. Here are just some of the calls that came in to dispatch.

12:41 am – A father called police because his 12-year-old daughter left the house around midnight. He believed she went to meet a guy she was talking to on social media. She did not have a cell phone on her. Police found her 15 minutes after the call came in. She was taken back home.

8:45 am – A person was found unresponsive in a car on Cayuga Road. Cleveland Hill firefighters were called to the scene along with an ambulance crew. The person was taken to ECMC.

9:50 am – Three train jumpers were caught by CSX security on Broadway. They were taken into custody by Cheektowaga Police.

10:03 am – A driver was pulled over on Genesee Street and arrested for driving without a license.

11:26 am – Police and an ambulance were called to Delta Sonic on Walden Avenue. A man was passing out in a vehicle in front of the store. He was having an unknown medical issue and was taken to Mercy Hospital by ambulance.

11:44 am – Three men were begging for money between Burger King and Tops in Thruway Plaza. The men were advised to leave the area by police.

1:06 pm – Two men in police booking were evaluated by an AMR crew for seizure history.

1:49 pm – A police report was filed after someone on Primrose Drive said their patio set was stolen a week ago.

1:57 pm – Police went to a home on Haley Lane. A woman thought someone broke into her home and stole gift cards. It did not look like anyone broke into the house. Police figured out that the woman either threw out the gift card by accident or mailed the envelope along with other bills.

2:05 pm – A driver was pulled over on Union Road and arrested for driving without a license.

2:13 pm – U-Crest firefighters were called to a home on Beechwood Place. A man in his 30’s was unresponsive on a porch. It turned out he was having a diabetic issue.

2:30 pm – Cleveland Hill firefighters were called to a heroin overdose on Ellen Drive. He was given Narcan by police officers and taken to ECMC by ambulance. A police report was filed.

3:04 pm – U-Crest firefighters were called to the Marriott Courtyard on Genesee Street after a fire alarm went off in the pool area. The hotel was advised, it seemed to be a faulty detector.

3:50 pm – Police were called to Allison Drive to deal with a landlord/tenant dispute. A tenant was moving out and movers were trying to take the stove and fridge that belong to the complex. Everything was cleared up when management returned with a copy of the lease. Movers put the appliances back in place.

4:10 pm – A police report was filed after a bicycle was taken from a yard on The Avenue.

4:30 pm – Police searched a home on Marie Avenue after a woman came home and found the door open. It turned out it was just left open by accident. Everything was in order.

4:51 pm – Police were called to Hoerner Avenue after a woman said her ex-boyfriend stole her phone and pushed her to the ground. He threatened to shoot her if she didn’t leave. One person was arrested and a domestic incident report was filed.

5:24 pm – A call came from Fairelm Lane. A neighbor was concerned because a volleyball net was strung over the sidewalk from over the weekend. The net was removed from the sidewalk, and a note was left for the resident who was not home.

5:37 pm – One person was taken to ECMC to be checked out for chest pains after two cars crashed on Walden Avenue.

6:27 pm – A car was pulled over on Genesee Street and two people were arrested for narcotics charges.

6:27 pm – A driver was pulled over and arrested for narcotics on Harlem Road.

7:21 pm – Police were called to the old Walmart in Thruway Plaza. There was a report of squatters camping out. The group was sent on their way by police on Tuesday. Police found three men and two women along with pups at the scene. They were sent on their way again.

7:26 pm – A police report was filed after a man on Bennett Road said he put his wallet on the roof of his car, and he was unsure of where it fell off. He called back an hour later to say he found his wallet.

7:30 pm – Bellevue firefighters were called to an apartment on Crabapple Lane after someone there smelled an electrical fire. It turned out to be an issue with an extension cord pulled into the outlet.

7:43 pm – A young male was arrested for shoplifting at the Galleria.

8:06 pm – Police were called to Edgebrook Estates due to a fight over handicapped parking. Everyone was advised to stay away from each other.

8:24 pm – A caller said they tracked their stolen phone to a hair salon on Union Road. When they called, a woman answered the phone then hung up. Police returned the phone to the original owner an hour and a half later.

8:25 pm – Police were called to the Comfort Inn on Dingens. A drunk man was not a guest of the hotel, and he was causing trouble. He was taken to a home and advised that he would be arrested if he returned to the hotel.

8:35 pm – A police report was filed for a car break-in on Gualbert Avenue.

9:43 pm – A police report was filed after a man stole cash from an open drawer at the 7-Eleven on Harlem Road. 

10:02 pm – A man was spotted by an officer on patrol loading pallets into his vehicle on Gruner Road. He was advised about taking pallets by police.

10:05 pm – Cleveland Hill firefighters were called to Mount Cavalry Cemetary’s office after a smoke alarm went off. It turned out to be a faulty detector.

11:25 pm – A driver was pulled over on Genesee Street and arrested for driving without a license.
