CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. – 163 calls came into dispatchers on Tuesday. Here are some of the incidents police, firefighters, and ambulance crews were sent to.

1:01 am – A call came in from Gardenvillage Drive. A woman called and said a man had a gun. Police arrived a few moments later. The mother was disciplining her daughter who had her boyfriend in the house. He left. The daughter was leaving. There was no gun. 

2:19 am – Police arrested one man for stealing a 30 pack of Bud Light from 7-Eleven on Walden, near the city line. The man also had a warrant out of Buffalo.

6:41 am – A call came in asking officers to check on a man slumped on a bench on Willowlawn Parkway. A skateboard was in the middle of the street by the man. He was woken up and sent on his way by police.

8:57 am – Doyle firefighters and an ambulance were called to the Sunoco gas station on Union at William. A woman passed out at the scene. She was taken to ECMC for treatment.

10:12 am – A call came in from Arthur Musarra Parkway. A father was yelling and a little girl was screaming. It turns out the daughter was mad because her father was brushing her hair.

10:46 am – Doyle firefighters were called to Best Western on Dingens Street. An aerosol can in a room set off the alarm.

11:15 am – A call came in about a man who took down all the political signs at the corner of Parker Street and threw them onto a lawn. Police were not able to track down the sign stealer. 

12:22 pm – A police report was filed after a worker at a business in the 2300 block of Walden Avenue said their bicycle tires were slashed.

12:53 pm – A woman came into police headquarters to make a complaint. She said her neighbor tried to run her over with a motorized scooter.

1:10 pm – A tractor trailer with Indiana plates took down a communication line on Crabapple Lane.

1:13 pm – Bellevue firefighters were called out to put out a grass fire along Losson Road, close to the Union Road intersection.

3:04 pm – A teenage boy was turned over to his mother after getting caught shoplifting from Tops in the Thruway Plaza.

4:02 pm – A pedestrian was taken to ECMC after being struck by a vehicle on Dick Road.

4:14 pm – A mother in Rochester called police concerned. She had not heard from her daughter in days and they usually speak multiple times a day. Police got in touch with the daughter on Lucerne Court. She just was sleeping because she was not feeling well. She agreed to call mom.

4:15 pm – Three train jumpers were arrested for trespassing. They were picked up after getting into each other’s faces off of Broadway.

5:54 pm – Police were called to a nail salon in Thruway Plaza after a customer refused to pay for services. Eventually, the bill was paid and everyone was advised. 

7:15 pm – A car was pulled over on Cayuga Road and two people were arrested for narcotics.

8:11 pm – A woman was outside the Sunoco station on Genesee Street at Harlem. She was asking customers for money for the Hurricane. An employee said the woman was asking for money for anti-bullying. She was gone when police got there.

8:14 pm – A police report was filed after a man took two bottles of liquor from Town Park Liquor Store on Harlem Road.

10:40 pm – An officer on patrol spoke with a kid cutting through Town Park and another couple people in one of the shelters. They were all advised that the park was closed.
